The Peer Jury Ancient Greek courts used peer juries to decide important cases and give opinions on potential laws.

Geometry The Greeks insisted that geometric facts must be established by deductive reasoning, much like how it is done these days. Before them, geometric rules were not explained and rules were not created.

Practice of Medicine Before ancient Greek times, diseases were explained through superstitions and punishment for sins. Hippocrates was a physician who determined that they were caused by the body’s reactions. He also set out a code for doctors to follow. One of those was doctor-patient confidentiality.
