12 Travel Documents  Passport is an official document that is certified and issued by the government. This document provides proof of identity and citizenship to a particular country.  Visa is an endorsement on a passport that states that the person identified is allowed to enter, leave or stay in a country, but only for a specific period of time.  Tourist Card is an official document that is used in the Dominican Republic and in Mexico. Anyone who is only visiting or travelling to a country for tourism purposes may obtain this documentation.

13 Organizations that promote safety and security Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created to secure the nation from threats. Security ranges from aviation and border security to emergency response. Department of State (State Department) They are the leader on foreign policy issues. They negotiate treaties and agreements with foreign entities, and represent the United States at the United Nations. Department of Transportation (DOT) Responsible for federal highway, air, railroad and other forms of transportation. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) An intelligence-driven and threat-focused national security organization with both intelligence and law enforcement responsibilities. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Responsible for the enforcement of safety and health legislation. They are responsible for regulating safety and health legislation in the workplace. National Security Agency (NSA) A federal agency responsible for the protection and exploitation of signals intelligence. World Tourism Organization (WTO) A major international organization that promotes tourism.
