1. Pasta for Pennies Luncheon Students at Burks Elementary School were honored for raising $1363.83 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

2. Robert Matlock, with Woods, May & Matlock North Texas Family Law Attorneys in McKinney, TX, was a guest speaker at the luncheon. Mr. Matlock donated $155.00 worth of coins that his family collected for many years to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on behalf of Burks Elementary School. He also spoke to the children about working hard to be successful, giving back to the community and working to be good citizens. A big thank you to Robert Matlock!

5. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society provided Burks Elementary School with a plaque and an honorary check that showed how much money the students raised to help “Find the Cure for Cancer”
