WHAT IS A DEMONSTRATIVE SPEECH A “HOW TO” speech walks the audience through a process of steps to a clear goal We do these speeches because it is important for your future success to be able to explain processes thoroughly in an organized way

ASSIGNMENT DUE 10/20 For this assignment, you will demonstrate for the audience “how to” do something. This speech requires a Visual Aid Speeches should AT LEAST 3 minutes long but anywhere from 3-5 minutes is fine. Speech should have a MINIMUM OF 5 STEPS Some examples are How to make a sandwich How to tie shoes How to post a picture on Instagram

VISUAL AIDS What is a visual aid? an item of illustrative matter, such as a film, slide, or model, picture or poster, designed to supplement written or spoken information so that it can be understood more easily. You have 3 options for this project: 1. Bring in the actual objects and demonstrate 2. Bring in a poster with photo aids that demonstrate 3. make a powerpoint*special rules apply
