PCPR Mission: From Website: Our staff is dedicated to bringing the citizens of Palm Coast quality parks and recreation experiences. We strive to make Palm Coast a great place to live, visit, and recreate! Palm Coast Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational opportunities for toddlers, youth and adults, beautiful parks, an outdoor pool facility, hydro-grid clay tennis center, newly renovated golf course, a sports complex, and connecting trails where users can jog, bike and explore nature. We believe that the benefits of having a healthy community "starts in Parks." In a nutshell – Our goal is to provide for the recreational and leisure needs of the residents of our community.

By providing exemplary customer service Facility Rentals in FY 15 = 850 By providing quality programs and programs that create memorable life experiences Lunch n Lecture numbers increased due to professional speakers By Providing clean, safe, aesthetically pleasing facilities Public Works – THE BEST!!! By providing a well-trained, professional staff Combined experience of Recreation staff = 50+ years of service Advanced Degrees Passion and Dedication

Program Approach: Filling the Gaps in Service Evaluate what is being offered and by whom How can we enhance what is currently being offered What new program can we introduce Resident requests Example: Athletics & Athletic Field Use Belle Terre Park – 2-3 Multi-Purpose Fields; Playground, Tennis & Racquetball Courts, Pavilions, Basketball Hoop Indian Trails Sports Complex – 10 Multi-Purpose Fields, 4 baseball fields, playground, concessions, restrooms Ralph Carter Park - 4 Multi-Purpose Fields, playground, restroom, basketball Seminole Woods Neighborhood Park – 2 Multi-Purpose Fields, 1 Baseball Field

Now, Our Community Center: General Amenities: 2 Multi-Purpose Rooms, Kitchen, Restrooms 850 Individual Reservations 42,900 visitors to Palm Coast Community Center (over 50% of our population) Challenges: Time Space
