Equatorial and Tropical People in an equatorial or tropical climate wear natural materials like cotton, linen and silk. They use light colors and wear long-sleeves to protect them from the elements.

Savannah: People who live on the Savannah wear lightweight clothing with colors. Desert: People in the desert wear lightweight material like cotton or linen. These materials allow for perspiration. They wear white or light colors in order to reflect the light.

Oceanic, Mediterranean and Continental Climates People who live in these climates where many different types of clothing because of the change in temperatures during the year.

Polar and High Mountain Climates People in cold climates wear fur, wool, warm shoes and boots. These clothes help to insulate the heat.

Equatorial and Tropical They eat fish, a variety of plants and small mammals, tubers and root crops.

Savannah: They hunt and eat large animals like Zebra and Wild beast. Desert: People who live in a dry, hot climate eat plants and seeds and focus on items that contain water.

Mediterranean and Oceanic Because they live near a sea or ocean, they eat a lot of seafood and fish.

Continental In a forest area, they eat seasonal plants like strawberries and peas. They also eat domesticated animals such as cows, sheep, pigs and chicken.

Polar and High Mountain They eat fish, shellfish and land and sea mammals like seals.

Savannah: The savannah has a wet and dry season. Desert: A desert climate has cold nights and hot days. The temperatures are similar all year.

Tropical: A tropical climate has a dry and water season and no real winter. They also have monsoons during the water season. Equatorial: Equatorial climates are very hot and humid and have the same temperatures all year.

Mediterranean: All of the seasons are very similar but it does have dry summers. Oceanic: An oceanic climate has cool and wet summers and warm winters.

Continental: Continental climates have 4 seasons: Summer, autumn, winter and fall.

Polar and High Mountain Cold climates have very short summers and very long winters.
