An Overview of the Waterford School District * Grades PreK-12 serving the communities of Clarkston, Waterford, West Bloomfield, Pontiac and White Lake * Serves approximately 10,500 students: 9 Elementary schools, 1 Early Childhood Center, 2 Middle Schools, 2 High Schools, 1 Alternative High School, 1 Cyber Academy, 1 Specialized School for severely impaired students * Strong community ties with Waterford Parks and Recreation Department, Chamber of Commerce, Youth Assistance, Breakfast- Optimist Club, Coalition for Youth and the Waterford Foundation

Technology * Each classroom is equipped with SMART or iPad/iTV technology * Each secondary school has over 300 computers available for student use Pierce: 1 computer for every 3 students, Mason: 1 computer for every 4 students, Mott/Kettering: 1 computer for every 5 students, Elementary Schools: 1 computer for every 8 students

Education *100% Highly-Qualified teaching staff and over two-thirds of teaching staff have a masters degree or higher *79% graduation rate, with 92% of graduates attending college *Cyber Academy- accredited rewarding and rigorous curriculum that meets MI Merit Curriculum guidelines *Over $6million in scholarships awarded to high school seniors attending college in 2014-2015

Mason Middle School: 1200 Students - students, parents and staff work together in a student-centered environment promoting self-esteem, exploration and lifelong learning. Pierce Middle School: 800 Students - students learn from dedicated staff that demonstrate their belief in life-long learning by their personal involvement and commitment to professional development. Waterford Mott High School (app.1500) A Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary School, provides students with a rigorous academic environment that encourages students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers. Our students are challenged to excel and have a proud tradition of succeeding that goal. More than 92% of Waterford graduates go on to college each year with impressive results. Mott High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Waterford Kettering High School (app.1400) Has a long tradition of contributing to the intellectual growth of our students. Students attend dynamic courses that invite inquiry and nurture creative thinking, while providing a solid foundation of core academic studies. More than 92% of Waterford graduates go on to college each year with impressive results. Many earn numerous college scholarships to assist in their post-secondary education pursuits. Kettering High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Waterford Durant High School (app.225-250) Waterford Durant High School is a small high school and our students are between the ages of 15 and 19 and have completed at least one year of high school at Waterford Mott or Kettering High School. This is not an adult education program. Durant students who fulfill Waterford School District graduation requirements earn a Waterford Durant High School diploma. Waterford High Schools
