Determining the Availability of Groundwater for Water Supply through 2035 Once wellfield locations have been determined, groundwater availability will be determined through the use of the SWFWMD’s Northern District Model. –The production of the wellfields will be input into the model to determine how water resources such as wetlands, lakes, springs, and rivers in the vicinity of the wellfields will be impacted
