Print a copy of the syllabus outcomes for a chapter and tick the outcomes as you complete. Ask your teacher for syllabus outcomes and paste on the first page of your notes on the unit. Example on next slide

In this chapter you will learn how to: Identify the different types of sampling and use random numbers to select a sample from a population. Use counting techniques to list and count all possible samples ( of all sizes) that can be selected from a population of size up to 5 Compare sample means and the means of all sample means with the population mean. Use the capture-recapture technique to estimate the size of a population from taking a sample Recognise the normal distribution and its properties, including the 68%-95%-99.7% limits Calculate and compare Z-scores

Failure to hand in the assessment task will result in students being awarded n- determination award. When a student has been awarded N award, he will be given a ZERO for the assessment task but still required to complete the assessment task in order to complete HSC Lets us look at a sample of n-award
