Jessica Ring Stage of writing: prewriting ELA4W1 The student produces writing that establishes an appropriate organizational structure, sets a context and engages the reader, maintains a coherent focus throughout, and signals a satisfying closure. Practice Activity The students and I will complete a graphic organizer together. Call on individual students for information to complete the graphic organizer. This activity is for 4 th grade.

Assessment Activity Each student will complete a graphic organizer with information that will used in the drafting stage for writing a business letter. This activity is for 4 th grade. Remind students to use words or phrases.
