What is the Elizabethan era? An era in England when Queen Elizabeth I was the monarch 1558-1603 Often referred to as The Golden Age in English history

Why are we learning about the Elizabethan era? Our next text, Romeo and Juliet, took place in this era The time period had a large effect on the characters and the plot It also gives us the opportunity to do a cool research project...get excited!!!

Research Project You will be doing a research project that focuses on an aspect of the Elizabethan era You will be presenting your findings to the class in a digital presentation It’s your turn to be the teacher!

What does the project involve? After choosing a topic, you must pick 5 sources to base your project off of One HAS to be non-electronic You will examine these sources a little further, filling out a handout that requires you to give information about these sources You will make a digital presentation out of your research, teaching the class about your topic You must also make a handout with the most important aspects regarding your topic!!!

How will I choose my topic? We are going over each possible topic that you can choose While I describe them, jot down which ones you are interested in At the end, you will rank your five top choices, from most to least desirable My goal is for you to receive one of your top choices for your project
