Our Initiative: Preventing and reducing substance use 15 to 22 year olds Utilizing a public health approach referred to as SBIRT

4,700 youth die each year from alcohol related factors of youth use alcohol and other drugs at risky/harmful level 25% By the time they are seniors… 70% of high school students will have tried alcohol, 50% taken an illegal drug, 40% smoked a cigarette, and 20% used a prescription drug (non-medically)
