9. The Children There are currently about 100 children at La Finca, but they are expecting more by Christmas. Some children are actually orphans. Half of the children were given to the orphanage by their parents to improve their living conditions. The others were given away because they were unwanted.

12. The Need: Something *NEW* Family Competition for donation of NEW items Shirts – 2 points Pants (sturdy jeans) - 4 points Shoes (sturdy…need to last a year!!) - 7 points Children are infants to 19 years old. The family with the most points wins a PIZZA PARTY from Mrs. Noyes. Yeah!!
