2. introduction
In this presentation I will be telling you about the risks of installing hardware and the precautions of installing hardware.

3. Electrostatic discharge
Electrostatic discharge is short for the term ESD. ESD is the sudden flow of electricity between two objects caused by contact, an electrical short, or dielectric breakdown.
ESD is one of the risks possible to damage or destroy an individual computer or hardware components, ESD can occur when working with your computer and will cause components you touch no longer work properly. ESD can cause a range of harmful effects of importance in industry, including methane gas and coal dust explosions, as well as failure of solid state electronics components such as integrated circuits
The best way to avoid ESD is to use house clothes that aren't great electrical conductors most likely ones that don’t have metal pieces attached like zips or buttons.

4. Equipment damage
Equipment damage occurs when the equipment is badly managed, that includes overusing the battery, dropping the equipment, applying to much pressure onto the equipment, keeping it in an unsafe place, letting unreliable people use that piece of equipment
But not all equipment damage is caused by you it may be caused by other people, they might be carrying it or using it carelessly. That includes being damaged by the delivery service, it could also be damaged by a friend that you allowed to borrow your equipment. Their might even be a possibility that the equipment could be damaged by the weather.
The best way to avoid equipment damage is to make sure there isn't any harmful things around it, keep it in a safe place when your not using it also ensure you get it delivered by a high class service to ensure it doesn’t get damage before you receive it. Try to get a case and a carrier bag

5. Data loss
Data loss is an error condition in information systems in which information is destroyed by failures or neglect in storage, transmission, or processing.
Data loss occurs on every device that stores data, there are a few types of data loss, human error, file corruption and hardware failure, studies show that hardware failure is the highest form of data loss. To avoid data loss ensure that the documents you are opening or saving are compatible with hardware ensuring the hardware will not overwrite the previous document, human error is also a cause of data loss to prevent that you must backup the documents onto other storing devices but double check you are deleting the right document.

6. Data corruption
Data corruption refers to errors in computer data that occur during writing, reading, storage, transmission, or processing, which introduce unintended changes to the original data, there are many causes of data error including hardware and software problems as well as user error.
Many computers have tools to solve problems with data corruption usually found in either the ‘accessories’ but it depends on the computer it may be in a different file.
The best way to fix it is to find a person who is highly experienced on that specific issue to help you but you could also attempt to learn how to do it for yourself which would be the less expensive way. Make sure you have all your files backed up

7. Service loss
Service loss refers to user failing to be able to gain service to the internet or log onto a network, most professional users do their best to avoid service loss
Service loss usually occurs in places that is not reachable by service providers such as in tunnels on the underground as well as parts of the globe or if the service provider is down. The best way to solve this problem would to follow the troubleshooting steps to narrow down the problem and restore the internet connectivity
