My reading more is also going good. I am reading better books they are also fun. I have more fluency and I am reading more.   I anyone called me caring I would be happy. I also would mean a lot to me. A caring person is someone who is nice and helps people. An example is that you would share your snack with them. You can help them with there work. Or you can play what they want to do or play.

13. G.A.T.E. Student Portfolio Solar Systems Post ten facts you learned about the Solar Systems. Uranus is a giant icy ball of gas and liquid, with a solid center. It’s the seventh planet from the sun and the farthest that you can see without a telescope. Although Neptune is even farther from the sun, Uranus is the coldest planet in our solar system. The color comes from clouds on its surface made up of tiny crystals of methane gas. Uranus also has rings like Saturn, though they aren’t very noticeable. The rings are made of ice and rock. At least 21 moons orbit around Uranus, somewhat like a Ferris wheel. Its poles are on its sides and it orbits the sun on its side. The strange way that it spins can mean nights on some parts of Uranus last more than forty years! Scientists think a planet as big as Earth may have crashed into Uranus at some point, tipping it onto its side.

16. G.A.T.E. Student Portfolio Weather Report In both cities are pretty the high temp is hot and the low temp is cold, but Michigan is colder than Arizona. The cold front is heading east.

17. G.A.T.E. Student Portfolio Weather Report What is a cold front? A cold front is defined as the leading edge of a cooler mass of air. What is a warm front? A warm front is a density discontinuity. What is a stationary front? A stationary front is a boundary between two different air masses.

18. G.A.T.E. Student Portfolio Hurricane Facts  The word hurricane comes from the Taino Native American word, hurricane, meaning evil spirit of the wind. The first time anyone flew into a hurricane happened in 1943 in the middle of World War II.  A tropical storm is classified as a hurricane once winds goes up to 74 miles per hour or higher.  Hurricanes are the only weather disasters that have been given their own names.  All hurricanes begin life in a warm moist atmosphere over tropical ocean waters.  A typical hurricane can dump 6 inches to a foot of rain across a region.

Student Portfolio Tornado Facts  Small tornadoes sometimes form on the edge of bigger tornadoes.  In Oklahoma, a small herd of cattle were sucked up by a tornado and carried across the countryside, before being set down unharmed.  In 1981, a tornado that swept through the Italian City of Ancona lifted a sleeping baby from its baby carriage and set it down unharmed on the ground.  The UK gets about 60 tornadoes a year, even with its moderate climate.
