www.ks1resources.co.uk Almost every Roman household would have at least one amphora of garum. Garum was a strong tasting, salty sauce made from the remains of fish and fish blood. The Romans used garum to flavour their favourite meals. Take the entrails of tunny fish and its gills, juice and blood and add sufficient salt. Leave it in a vessel for two months.
