Initial Ideas for Blackjack Game Create a digital and portable blackjack game Explore the capabilities of Qprox sensors and try to emulate the hand motions of a real blackjack game

Ideas for Revising Game Include push, double down, splitting, and bidding Show card face values rather than card value totals Change functionality of the ace card to determine 1 or 11 value Possibly give player tips through audio

Problems During Implementation Multiple LCD Screens –Multiple PICs and Passing multiple-character string variables –Multiplexer - No documentation, time –“Buggy” LCD displays Displaying the 10 card Game resets during play Sensitivity of the Qprox sensors Coding/Conveying Gameplay to the user –Splitting –Doubling down

User Testing and Feedback Confusion over the value of X Screen was hard to see People pressed HIT and STAY Overall, users really liked the interface Bidding was fairly intuitive –Multiple pushes tried –Button Sensitivity New players needed explanation of game, but found the experience easy.
