5.  ‘Dosta Dash: Junior Service League volunteer opportunity  The league works for the betterment of their community  I was in charge of making sure the traffic did not interfere with the race  I was to also make sure the runners stayed on the correct course

8.  I had two jobs to do: inform the prospective students about the Honors Program offered at VSU and be a tour guide to a group of about fifteen students and parents  I had to answer questions that the incoming students may have or the concerns of the parents

9. As a tour guide, I was showing a prospective student the Honors House on VSU campus

10.  I love taking part in service-learning  I have gained leadership skills and much confidence  It was really fun and I gained many new friends along the way  I have obtained many beneficial talents that will help me out later in life

11.  I will continue to do service-learning projects  It feels good to be able to give back to your community!
