SAT 61 Contrite (adj.) – feeling sorrow and regret for one’s sins or offenses; penitent Synonym – guilt; remorse Antonym – apathetic Sentence – It was hard for Arthur to stay angry with his sister for breaking his game since she was so genuinely contrite. HW – New Sentence

SAT 68 Dearth (noun) – a lack; a scarcity Synonyms: insufficiency; lack Antonyms: abundance; excess Sentence – There was a dearth of joy at the boring Christmas party. HW – NEW SENTENCE
