Then:  Consider past performance/grades in each subject area.  Review your student’s Four-Year Academic Plan.  Consider college entrance requirements for schools of interest.  Play to strengths when choosing classes.  Strike a BALANCE between challenging course selection and ability to be successful in classes while improving GPA. SCHEDULING TIMELINE Upcoming Dates (all students)  May 2016 – Students will review their course requests.  June 3, 2016 – Last day to make changes to course requests.  August 1 - 5, 2016 – Schedule pick-up and changes as needed.  Once school begins, students will be permitted to make changes for placement purposes only. For example, if a student needs to change from an Advanced course to the regular class or from an AP to a regular course.  September 2, 2016 – Last day for schedule changes.
