Eternal Punishment in Hell Some think God loves too much to punish in hell. If no wrath then why do we need to be forgiven? It shows how much God hates sin His love provides an escape.

Is God’s Wrath Necessary ? Part of His nature Nahum 1:2 “God is jealous, and the Lord avenges: the Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, and He reserves wrath for His enemies.” Nahum 1:2

Is God’s Wrath Necessary ? If God ever stopped hating sin He would cease to be Holy. God could punish the person or have a substitute. The cross of Christ satisfied His wrath.
