BA5 – Identification process already done (winter stop 2011), 50% unused cables identified. – Final verification to be done in YETS 2015/16. – De-cabling of 5 left could be done in EYETS 2016/17. However, this is to be way more carefully investigated (safety, logistics, co-activity & tech feasibility). – De-cabling of LSS5 and 5 right can only be done in LS2 (5 months) BA3 – Identification process to be done in YETS 2015/16. – De-cabling of certain areas may be possible in EYETS 2016/17. However, this is to be way more carefully investigated and studied. – Main de-cabling campaign to be done in LS2. (4 months) De-cabling status and next steps EN-MEF D.Mcfarlane16

The lifting of false floors. – The access in the false floor is NOT authorised during OPERATION; – During the technical stops or long shutdowns it will be possible to lift some false floor “plaque” for inspection from the outside (without access in the false floor); – During TS or SD if you need to access in the false floor the power converters must be locked out, and depending on the activity a VIC is necessary. – These rules apply to LHC, SPS, PS and PSB. For any doubt about the intervention safety rules, you should contact the Safety Coordination Team. A.O.B. EN-MEF D.Mcfarlane28
