6 Technological Factors South Africa’s technology is the same as United States Majority of the people use cell phones, TV's, computers to run their businesses and for their daily lives. High quality advancements and machines make improvement possible

7 Cultural Factors Has many different cultures Eleven official languages The majority of people speak and understand English Holidays: Human Rights Day- March 21 st, n April 27 th - Freedom Day, May 1 st - labor day. Each of the different culture groups has its own specific expressive forms of social propriety and respect. Taboos: – It is considered very impolite to walk over someone's legs. – You are not supposed to smell food that is cooking on the stove, it's considered dirty

8 Cultural Factors con’t – When greeting someone, raise your left hand to indicate friendship and peace. – Do not leave food on your plate when you have finished eating. – Do not touch someone’s arm or stand too close to someone. – Do use either both hands or your right hand to give or receive a present, and open your gift immediately.
