The shortage makes the Honus Wagner card the most valuable of all time, worth close to $500,000. 1912: SINKING OF THE TITANIC Men in tuxedos are observed smoking cigarettes as they await their fate. 1922: REGULATION: 15 states have banned the sale, manufacture, possession, advertising and/or use of cigarettes.

What Meaning Did it Create Created a stereotype that women had to smoke to fit in Lack of understanding health risks put peoples lives at risk Showed the youth that it was ok for their parents to harm themselves Showed that tobacco is an addictive drug
