1. tyrannical- adj.- ruling unjustly, usually with absolute power over a population cruelly kept submissive and fearful 2. indisposed- adj.- sick; too ill to do something 3. garble- verb- to jumble the meaning of something 4. privy- noun- an outhouse or toilet/ adj- sharing in the knowledge of something secret or private 5. pallet- noun- a straw-filled mattress 6. Grammar Rule: Always place your name after another’s name. Ex. “Rodney and I went to the mall.”

7. whetstone- noun- a grindstone, sharpener, typically for a knife 8. brocade- noun- a richly woven fabric 9. flog- verb- to whip, beat someone very hard 10. contraband- noun- illegal, or smuggled goods 11. repugnant- adj.- offensive or causing a feeling of disgust 12. Grammar Rule- Me or I? Use the pronoun that would fit without the other person’s name. Ex. Rodney and I went to the mall.
