New MPD firmware Updated firmware developed: ◦ VME A24 space for configuration registers/RAM ◦ VME A32 space for data buffer ◦ Less fragmentation in VME address map ◦ Fast block transfer (2sVME, 2eSST) ◦ 16 tap FIR filters (as in lab revision) ◦ 128 MB DDR data buffer ◦ Optical Fiber interface SSP compliant (thanks Ben!) ◦ VME and Fiber accesses are exclusive ◦ Logic utilization: 71 %, 19863 registers (42 %) SBS Meeting @ JLAB 4 16 December 2015

6. UVa Back Tracker parts Danning is testing new prototypes of front-end and backplanes (5 and 12 slots) Found some issues on 12 slots backplane design and prototypes: ◦ I 2 C positional addresses not matched with the original design ◦ A couple of resistors assembled in wrong position Those issues are not blocking the testing: we could live with this I 2 C addressing or decide to restore the original mapping in the production batch No other issues found SBS Meeting @ JLAB 6 16 December 2015
