Science Changes Francis Bacon taught that scientists should observe and interpret facts. Rene Descartes taught using logic and reason to form scientific theories was good. Isaac Newton taught testing using the scientific method, or controlled experiments was right.

Medieval Scientist believed that the sun, plants, and stars orbit the Earth. Nicolaus Copernius, Polish astronomer argued that that the planets orbit the sun. Nicolaus Copernicus

James Watt Alessandro Volta New inventions made life better in the Middle Ages. Thomas Newcomen & James Watt invented the steam engines. Alessandro Volta & Michael Faraday did electrical experiments.

The Scientific Revolution changed life by making transportation faster and the way of thinking about science and astronomy. Scientists found out that the planets orbited the sun. Scientists used the scientific method to do new and different experiments.
