Instructor will lead a whole group discussion about questions and their purpose. . Module 4 Creating Effective Questions for Student Engagement

3  3.-Instructor will play multimedia video on “How to create effective questions to engage students’ participation with clickers in class”, on Module 4 PowerPoint https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0q5gQf Qmng https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0q5gQf Qmng  4.- Allotted time for questions and answers on Clickers on the viewed multimedia on Classroom Response System installation.

4 5.- Instructor Guide, Peer Instruction, and Independent practice: Teachers will break-up into four groups of five and will discuss and write two questions for a whole class selected topic in each group. (example: What were Christopher Columbus’ true motives to navigate to the New World?) Peers with more expertise will help out learners with questions

5  5.- Assessment: Learners will demonstrate that they have mastered skills on creating “Effective Questions”. Groups will present “Topic Questions” created in front of class.  6.- Assessment: Instructor will give learners a Quiz consisting of four multiple-choice questions and two True and False Questions. 
