Taking Risks A risk is a chance that a person takes that has an unknown outcome Can be positive or negative Calculated Risk = chance that a person takes after careful consideration of the possible outcomes Unnecessary Risk = chance that is not worth taking after the possible outcomes are considered

Resiliency The ability to adjust, recover, bounce back, and learn from difficult times Support from others Stay optimistic Learn and grow

What is Wellness? First, what is a person’s quality of life? Quality of life is how much a person lives life to the fullest capacity Wellness Is… The continuous, active process of becoming aware of the different areas in one’s life Identifying the areas that need improvement Making choices that will help attain a higher level of health and well-being.
