Inserting Objects in PowerPoint To insert an object onto your slides, you have to open the insert tab Under the insert ribbon there are numerous commands that you can choose to customize your presentation

Inserting Objects in PowerPoint Along the insert ribbon, the first object you can insert is a table Click on the table command and pre-select how many rows and columns you want to have in your table

Inserting Objects in PowerPoint The next object you can insert is an illustration that can be either a picture, screenshot, clip art, shape, smart art or a chart Click on the which command you want and insert whichever type of image you think will improve your presentation

Inserting Objects in PowerPoint The next object you can insert is link to a file that you want to appear on your PowerPoint Simply click on the hyperlink command and paste a URL into the address window on the screen

Inserting Audio in PowerPoint PowerPoint also lets you play audio in the background of a single slide, or across slides Audio is something we insert, so go to the Insert Tab on the ribbon and click the Audio button In the 2007 and 2010 versions, you’ll immediately get a dialog box to insert the clip Another option is to record sound on your computer

Inserting Audio in PowerPoint Go “Insert > Audio > Audio from File” and locate the audio file in your computer Select the music icon and you will see the “Audio Tools” on the ribbon Switch to the “Playback” tab and from the “Start” dropdown choose “Play across slides” By doing this, the song will play across slides until the last slide or the song ends Switch to the “Animation” tab on the ribbon and click on the “animation pane” The animation pane is displayed on the right of the user interface Drag the audio element to the top of the animation list

Inserting Video in PowerPoint 1. From the Insert tab, click the Video drop-down arrow and select Video from File 2. Locate and select the desired video file, then click Insert
