2 This is to tell you about the game of volleyball, how it is played, and the training and effort it takes to play. Volleyball is not just about hitting a ball over a net, it is a game of strategy and timing. It also requires strength and will power. The goal in volleyball is to beat your opponent by, yes getting the ball over the net but by working yourself to do so whether you bruise your hips, knees, elbows, get floor burns, jam fingers, and other things. So in order to play this game you have to love it and be willing to give your body for it.

4 o The ball must hit with in the court to be a point. o If the ball is out and your team was the last to touch it the other team gets the point. o If it lands on your side of the net and inbounds it id the other teams point. o You can not be in the net, hit the net, or go under the net. o You must be behind the baseline when you serve if you step on or across the line the other team gets the ball. o It’s the first team to win two sets to 25. o You can only touch the ball once and then someone else must touch it before you can again.

5 The training it takes for a volleyball player is weightlifting twice a week, practicing at least three times a week, a lot of jumping, diving, and conditioning. You need to have stamina and be willing to work together with your teammates.
