5. Create a Family Calendar for 2016 Put family birthdays and other events on your calendar…… Identify words for each month (example – January’s words might be cold, new, goals)

6. Family calendar….. Develop a timeline for special events (for example – family vacation isn’t until July) Increase number understanding: “The first day of the month is Wednesday” or “How many days in does February have?”…..

7. Go to your Library Pick out books to enjoy together….. nothing beats cuddling and reading a story together!
