2 Jose Hernandez was born on August 7, 1962, at French Camp, California. He Is now 51 years old. This is the official sign of the location of French Camp.

3 Jose Hernandez Video In 2004 he became a NASA Astronaut for the Space Shuttle Program. In 1984 he graduated at University of the Pacific.

4 Jose Hernandez was the first Hispanic-American to go to the moon in American History.

5 He didn’t learn English until he was 12 years old.

6 When he was 12 years old, he heard that someone went to the moon. He wanted to do that.

7 Jose Hernandez is proud to be the first Hispanic- American to ever be on the Moon!
