2.  High School teachers help prepare students for life after graduation.  They teach academic lessons  Provide students with various skills that they will need to attend college and enter the job market.

6. Working Conditions for a secondary teacher include public or private school classrooms, generally during school hours, which may vary. Sometimes teachers are needed during evenings, weekends, and even summer vacations.

8.  Publick or private schools  Usually full time.  Sometimes Principals are needed during the evenings, weekends, and school holidays.

10. High School teachers must have a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. Public School teachers must be issued a State Certification or Teaching License.

12. Principals in the state of Michigan must obtain a Master’s Degree in Education Administration, or Leadership, and most have experience as teachers.

14.  Annual Wage for Secondary teachers as of May 2010 was recorded at approximately $53,230

16.  The annual Salary of Elementary, Middle, and High School Principals was recorded at approximately $86,970.

18.  My “Perfect Choice” School would be Wayne State University, in Detroit, MI, because they have an extraordinary teaching program. Their program covers grades from pre-school to twelfth, and an EDA (Educational Administration) program for when I choose to further my education.  The average cost for my education would be $13,904

20. Similarities  Both teachers and principals are educators.  They are both working together to achieve the same goal– to provide students with a safe environment, and further their education. Differences  Principals are the “boss”  Principals don’t teach in a classroom.  Principals take care of problems outside of the classroom, while it’s the teachers job to take care of problems inside of them.

22. After researching, I’ve concluded that I would rather jump the teacher part and go right to being a principal, but there’s no reason why I couldn’t do both.
