These bodies are men in world war 1 that died from the horrible disease called trench fever that was found December 1914. Trench fever baffled doctors and researches until the final year.

Trench foot is a fungal infection, it was more of a problem at the beginning of the trench warfare. But conditions improved in 1915.

They found out that this horrible disease was called influenza. It was killing more people then in World War 1.
