22.09.2008 2 M1: PPP Comments from Inger I think you have done a great job with the report, Anton! I have only one small comment and a couple of corrections. The comment: In Chapter 1 and 7 it is written a few times that the primary objective of road pricing is usually to regulate demand for road traffic and finance road maintenance. In Chapter 7 (page 41) there is also a reference in that context to toll roads and cordon tolls in Norway. It must be investments you mean and not maintenance. In Norway we can not use toll to finance maintenance, only investments in new roads. Also, the rest of the report speak about investments and not maintenance. I have made a few corrections in the report that you can see - not much.

22.09.2008 3 M1: PPP Comments from Samira Concerning the M4 report, I think that the report is very interesting. I am currently still working on it and hopefully I will be able to give you a copy at the meeting. I made some suggestions on the table 1 in chapter 2, I reviewed point 3 to introduce the last proposal revising eurovignette and I add a short paragraph in Chapter 6 on acceptability.

22.09.2008 4 M1: PPP Overview and what need to be done Kristín Anton Goebel the leader of the task and his collegue in Finland have done a great work structuring the work of the Road Pricing report. With help from Laurent, Oscar, Inger and as well Morten Welde they have managed to finish the report. Thanks to all of them. Action: I haven't seen much criticism on the last version. But it's the same for this task we the other have to use our next meeting for discussion and be ready to take a very determinate decision how we proceed and have in mind that we have limited time. Also here we have to finish the report before the end of October and send it to EB for discussion on their next meeting in the beginnig of December. I would like Anton to present the report on the next EB meeting if Hans-Josef agree on that.

22.09.2008 5 M1: PPP Comments on what need to be done Laurent I just can completely agree with Kristin's message. Concerning tasks M1 and M4, I think that the result is already very good and that the reports are close to publication. During the monday meeting, we have to list the last corrections and improvements to be made.

22.09.2008 6 M1: PPP Comments on what need to be done Anton In my opinion the tool is ready for EB-discussion. Of course there is always a possibility to improve the tool, but then voluntaries to contribute for improvements are more valuable than only comments. I fully agree that to finish our work in given timetable is the main goal at this stage. Yes, I'm willing to present the work in the next EB meeting.
