So what emerged…

 Defining the role of the leader a bit more…that we are the meddler in the middle in terms of our role between teachers and senior leaders  Heard the call and challenge to be authentic  It’s a CHALLENGE TO BE OPEN  TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK FOR THE GOODNESS  I NEED TO WORK HARDER WITH THOSE WHO SHOW ME THEY NEED ME LESS  NEED TO KEEP CHALLENGING THE WAY I LISTEN  HOW CONNECTED WE ALL ARE

 Was great to be reminded of Jesus’ leadership and how this is embedded into our own leadership journey and that he also faced many challenges  I thought the religious component would challenge me and it did, however, I felt included and able to understand and see a strong alignment between my beliefs and the ethos of Edmund, Jesus and the Catholic Church’s vision for educating for Justice and Peace.

 religion and faith are the areas I feel that I most need to resolve within myself to become an Authentic Ricean Leader and I feel encouraged now to continue to look deeper and challenge myself until I’m clear with where I’m at.  Is there an opportunity after these days, to facilitate ‘would be’ mentors for the participants?  identified where the Charter is in the college and deepened my appreciation of what we do.  I would like to be given strategies and be taken through a process of developing Indigenous men and women, in support of them aspiring to leadership positions.

Continuing the exploration – for all… A dialogue for our network

 What do you notice?  How do you fit into the story created and shared?  What’s your response?
