Before BMS law 2005 National wide implementation of breastfeeding policy was gradually becoming weak. Increase of imported formula because of open market and social and economical transition No legislation for marketing of infant formula Health professionals and parents both attracted to infant formula During 1996-2001, 5337 tn infant formula was imported from 13 different countries 100 % of label in foreign language and BF advertisement was located inside of the cap not visable..

Maternity Benefits in Mongolia ILO ratification 5 months pregnancy until baby reach 1 year old, every mother receive 18 USD every month for food. Every family receive about extra 80 USD once after child was born. Maternity leave with basic salary is given for 60 days before and after delivery One week leave is legislated 1 hour breastfeeding break everyday in the first year No breastfeeding room in work place
