5. Text Dependent Practice  Does the narrator like his wife?

6. Does the narrator like his wife? The narrator does not like his wife because he talks about killing her. “Maybe I should kill her.” (1) This quote proves my answer true because it shows that the narrator is contemplating killing his wife.

7. Text Dependent Practice  Does the narrator have a good relationship with his wife?  Does the wife know that the tiles are jinxed?  Is the husband better than his wife at scrabble?  Does the wife like her husband?
