International Cooperation Projects Financed by the RCN with Brazilian Partners Over the last 10 years more than 60 projects have had Brazilian research- or financing partners Among Brazilian research partners one finds universities all across Brazil This indicates a good potential to increase the amount of cooperation both within the technology sector and the basic research segment

Interorganisational Cooperation in Norway toward Brazil October, 2015: Innovation Norway and The Research Council of Norway signs agreement to co-fund Science- and Technology Consuls in South Africa and Brazil September - October, 2015: A senior Adviser from The Research Council of Norway works in an internship at Innovation Norway in Rio.

Status for Joint Calls PETROMAKS 2 + CNPqPETROMAKS 2 + FINEP StatusWork is being done to secure funding Will hopefully be announced this year and launched early next year Relevant applicants Universities and/or research institutes Companies (with or without collaboration with universities and/or research institutes) Thematic scopeChallenges within the offshore petroleum industry in Brazil and Norway The intention is to let the financing agencies in both countries use their regular procedures for financing projects, while at the same time making sure that the projects are balanced collaborations between companies/R&D-institutions in Brazil and Norway.
