What was the stone age? The stone age was a broad prehistoric period of time when early humans widely used stone for tool making. The stone age was a broad prehistoric period of time when early humans widely used stone for tool making.

Different types of stone Early humans used….. Early humans used….. Flint and Chert where used for weapons and cutting tools While Basalt and sandstone where used as ground tools, such as quernstones.

FOOD Early humans liked organ meats which included livers, kidneys, and brains. Early humans had very little dairy or carbohydrates. Some carbohydrates rich foods where legumes and cereal grain.
