4 Fantastic way to reach more people During March, we did 44 original tweets and 104 retweets, which have reached 18.6 k people !

5 Create an account Go to: https://twitter.com/signup More details at https://support.twitter.com/articles/100990-signing-up-with-twitter Choose a username (example: @HBPRCA) Optional: Choose photo and write a few sentences about you I suggest adding something like: “My posts are my personal views.”

6 Once you login… This is your info This is where you will write your “tweet” This is what people you follow are saying This is what we said

7 How to follow others If you click here you will see everybody that you follow Type in the name here Click on the name Click on “follow” Personalise your account so you see only what you are interested in

8 A hashtag is a word or an unspaced phrase prefixed with # to form a label. Allows grouping of similarly tagged messages. Allows an electronic search to return all tweets that contain it. Tips: #shortandsimple #relevant #consistent

10 How to tweet Max 140 characters You can add photos You can add a link to another website To tag someone add @ and their Twitter account name (i.e. @hbprca will tag HBPRCA account) To hashtag, add # (i.e. #stateofheart2014, #bloodpressure, #research) Keep it short, sweet and simple
