An Identity Outside of Christ Those who live in rebellion will not inherit the Kingdom What does it mean to be lost? –Persisting in unrepentant sin (intentionally and unintentionally) –Living in open rebellion towards God (endorsing sin) –Exchanging the truth of God for the lies of sin Sins of reckless self-gratification Sins of self-indulgence

5. Our Identity in Christ “Such were some of you! But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified” A New Creation (2 Cor. 5:17) –Our identity is solely found in Christ A Holy Nation (1 Peter 2:9-12) –As a new creation, we exist to minister his grace on earth

6. Call to Action Are you living out your identity in Christ? –Are you living holy? –Are you living as new? Is your identity being defined by something else?
