2.  Any space/place within which learning occurs

3.  A space where the resources, time and reasons are available to a group of people to nurture, support and value their learning of a limited set of information and ideas (Reiber, 2001)  A learning process for the teacher! (me)

4.  According to the subject being studied.

5.  Should be designed by the teacher.  Should be rich, complex and dynamic.  Have interactive walls, tools, corners  The more interactive, the more the knowledge of a subject is deepened.  Interaction can be with the teachers, peers, computers and walls.

6.  Knowledge representative of the subject  The individual agent: the ability to do self work and learn to regulate their goals.  Community: the class becomes a community of knowledge the moment that students share their knowledge with each other.  Assessment: The LE offers chances for students to give feedback, reflection and monitor their own work which is displayed in class.

7.  Don’t Panic! Building a LE takes time and patience and is an ongoing process.  Decide what knowledge you want your pupils to gain through the LE  Have at least one interactive wall  Technology in the classroom helps!  Seating arrangements  Teacher becomes the facilitator
