HPC Team 2 HKU CA: Status update  Change of membership at 2008 from HKU CS department (Dr. CL Wang)  HKU CS department (Dr. CL Wang) focus on research  HKU CC(Computer Centre) focus on provide IT service  HKU CC: Necessary to setup CA for Grid development in Hong Kong (Currently some users cert issued from CNIC SDG and IHEP)  HKU CS & HKU CC: Same university with many collaboration  Issue of digital certificate  Currently none(0) as the new CA/RA server is not yet implemented

3. HPC Team 3 HKU CA: To be implemented at 2009  Basic Design  1 offline CA server + 1 online web RA server  OpenCA PKI software package  Hardware  May buy 2 new PC servers for this purpose (or allocate 2 VM)  May or may not deploy HSM(Hardware Security Module) due to high cost, and the CA server must be offline server  Operation  Will assign some colleagues to be CA operators and User administrators  CP/CPS: Will draft at early 2009  OID: Already registered at IANA
