7 Revision Timetable Making Up a Revision Timetable – One Approach Why do it? It will free up time – you will enjoy your time off It will enable you to see the ‘big picture’ It will encourage you to see your revision as a ‘job to be done’ – it makes it easier to get on with specific subjects rather than just vaguely revising

8 Revision Timetable 1.Do the sums Add up how many hours you need to do for each subject 2.Think of each day as having the following structure: Morning, afternoon, evening 3.For every 2 sessions that you revise, give yourself a free session 4.On a computer (or by hand) write out a schedule for every day until your last exam

9 Revision Timetable 5.Add into this schedule: school days, exams, clubs/sports, special occasions, time off 6.Add in your revision sessions 7.Make alterations – you might find that you can’t make it fit 8.Give yourself 3 ‘Jokers’. Use these if you really can’t be bothered revising
