The 3 funding streams £300,000 in total Healthy Activities Healthy Ideas Healthy Neighbourhoods ‘Funding+’ Eligibility

Healthy Activities £30,000 (minimum £5,000) Provision of activity relating to one of the two selected key issues: a) Preventing people from starting smoking (targeted at the ages and communities most likely to do so) b) Preventing the onset of mental ill health in adults and children Single point of contact council officer, skills support, councillor ‘champion’, communications support

Healthy Ideas £8,000 Radically new approaches to tackling entrenched problems, relating to one of the two selected key issues: a) Substance Misuse (adults and children) b) Sexual Health (adults and children) A proof of concept report and short pilot Single point of contact council officer, challenge sessions, councillor ‘champion’, communications support

Healthy Neighbourhoods £1,000 Small scale neighbourhood based projects, improving local health and narrowing the gap between local communities’ health and wellbeing prospects Non-profits and ‘structured groups of local residents’ Communications support
