IEEE Central Texas Section ●Pizza Talk/Membership drive ●Hosted professors and experts to give students a lecture on topics of their choice. ●Membership drives helped to maintain and expand the current member base and allowed for larger events. ●Engineering Socials ●IEEE social events allowed members of IEEE to get to know one another better, enhancing the team chemistry of the club. Past Utilization of Funding

IEEE Central Texas Section ●Research Drive ●Provided members of the club an opportunity to talk about research programs offered at Trinity with the professors. ●Weekly tutoring ● Offered tutoring for Circuits and Electronics classes. ● Off-Campus Public Event ●Participated in local science events and advertised both Trinity Engineering Department and IEEE. Past Utilization of Funding

IEEE Central Texas Section Past Utilization of Funding ●Professional Writing Workshop ●Held 2 Professional Writing workshops to teach students the tools required for technical writing. Funding was used to cover for refreshments. ●R5 Registration ●Paid for registration fees of participating members to represent our branch at the conference.

IEEE Central Texas Section Planned Activities for Phase 1 ● Retain most of the structure of phase 1 proposal from last year. ● 2 Changes this year: ● Reallocate a portion of the funding for writing workshop and social events to R5 Robotics Team so they can purchase essential hardware and tools needed for the competition. ● Allocate more funding to involvement activities with fellow IEEE branches.
