3. Dates for Summer Reading June 9-July 30 7 weeks Reading Records can be given out as early as May 23.

4. Reading Records Children’s: 15 minutes increments for total of 600 Minutes for the summer. Teens: 6 Books. Both can be given another reading record for more opportunities to have name entered in final prize drawing.

5. Children’s Incentives At start give reading record and (if PreK-5) chain and tag. Brag Tags and Beads given at specified increments throughout program. Various books and prizes given at special events. After first 600 minutes, children will be entered in drawing for final prize.

6. Teen Incentives At start give reading record and bookmark. Various books and prizes given at special events. When reading record is complete give teens earbuds. After 6 books punched on reading record, teens will be entered in drawing for final prize.

7. Final Prizes! Children’s Program – Tricycle – 2 Bicycles Teen Program – Chromebook – iTunes Gift Card – Netflix Gift Card

8. SR Programming Guidelines Schiele Museum / Gaston Co. Museum Programming for school-age, teens, adults Toddler Time and Preschool Storytime Refreshments

9. Teen Volunteers for Main Main Library: High School and up Applications for Main will be up April 1. Interviews conducted in May. Training is June 2.
