1. THE NEW HALL (What the builders have done)

2. WEEK ONE On week one the builders were marking out the site. They were using a digital gps system. They also delivered fencing cabins and portable toilets.

3. WEEK TWO On week two there was an excavator called a case cx130. On the first day of the week it was widening the school drive so trucks could get in. For the rest of the week the excavator was demolishing the concrete and tarmac.

4. WEEK THREE On week three the excavator was doing ground clearance. Every now and then a truck came to take away all of the soil. On the last day of the week the excavator began the foundations.

5. WEEK FOUR On week four the building was delayed by snow. The only time when they used the excavator was when they scraped the snow off the school drive.

6. WEEK FIVE On week five the excavator finished off the foundations and dug the storage area underground. The hole was even deeper than the builders heads.

7. WEEK SIX On week six the case cx130 was replaced by a Hitachi ZX350u. For the rest of the week the builders put the frame up using a crane and some cherry pickers.

8. WEEK SEVEN On week seven the cherry pickers finished off the frame and the excavator made foundations for a retaining wall. The next day the excavator was gone. A Merlo Telehandler.

9. Where the machinery came from The excavators were supplied G. CROOK AND SONS, the crane from KING LIFTING, the cherry pickers from Ashtead Plant the telehandler from Selwood plant and the hall is being built by RG SPILLER G.
